Requests for copies of the 2009 Postgraduate Research Prospectus should be made by Monday 21 July 2008 using the online Publications Order Form.
Acceptance Information Booklet 2009
The University has recently updated its publication covering acceptance and arrival information for international students. This publication is now called the Acceptance Information Booklet, and will be available in an electronic version only. The Acceptance Information Booklet contains all the important information students will need in order to accept their offer and receive their Confirmation of Enrolment, as well as useful links to our website to assist them in planning their move to Adelaide.

** Agent Competition **
The International Office is holding a competition for all agents. For your chance to win, you will need to answer all of the following questions correctly:
- What is the closing date for applications for postgraduate research programs commencing in 2009 wishing to be considered for a scholarship?
- What is the process for ordering University of Adelaide marketing publications?
- Which page (or pages) of the Offer Statement and Acceptance Agreement must be signed by the student in order to accept an offer?
(Hint - all of the answers are contained in the Agent Newsletter, Editions 12, 13 and 14.)
Submit your entry via email to international.office@adelaide.edu.au by 5.00pm Australian Central Standard Time on Monday 28 July for your chance to win!
All correct entries received by Monday 28 July will go into a draw to win a choice of a University of Adelaide coffee plunger and mug set (pictured), or a University of Adelaide fleece jacket, both valued at A$55.00.
The prize draw will be conducted by the Director of the International Office, on Friday 1 August 2008 at 10.00am in the International Office.
The winner will be contacted by email to arrange delivery of their prize and the winner (and answers) will be announced in the next agent newsletter.
Note: This competition is only open to employees of the University's official education agents. Members of staff of the University of Adelaide are not eligible to enter.
International Office Staff Profile - Michal Sharvit
In this issue, we profile Michal Sharvit. Michal joined us in April 2008 as an Admissions Officer. Her current portfolio includes undergraduate, postgraduate coursework, and postgraduate research Engineering applications.
Originally from Israel, Michal moved to Adelaide in 2007 after spending the past seven years living in New Zealand. Prior to joining the International Office team, Michal worked in New Zealand at the New Zealand Qualifications Authority and another government agency.
Michal's interests include badminton, movies and hiking/tramping.
University News - Bio Skills SA sets new standard in medical teaching
The University of Adelaide is set to unveil the most high-tech medical teaching facility South Australia has ever seen - Bio Skills SA - complete with human simulator robots and a fully integrated audiovisual system for remote videoconferencing.
