Application fee for applications submitted through agents from 1 January 2010

The Vice-Chancellor has approved the introduction of an application fee for all full degree applications, including those submitted through agents, effective 1 January 2010.  This decision has been made as a result of a review of admissions processes conducted earlier this year, and is intended to improve services to applicants and agents.

An application fee of A$100 will be required for all applications for full degree admission received by the University from 1 January 2010.  The application fee is non-refundable and can be paid either:

  • in the form of a bank draft payable to "The University of Adelaide" OR
  • by credit card - acceptable cards are Visa, MasterCard, American Express

Cash, personal cheque or credit cards other than those stated above are not accepted.

After January 1 2010, applications for full degree admission from agents will not be processed until the application fee is paid as specified.

Some special provisions will apply for scholarship cohorts in certain circumstances.  The Regional Manager or Regional Coordinator responsible for your region will be contacting you with additional information in the near future.

University news - Building campus life with new student learning hub

The University of Adelaide is about to embark on a major new facility for students in the heart of its North Terrace Campus that will transform on-campus student life and learning.

The $34.5 million redevelopment of the central Hughes Plaza as a student learning hub, due for completion in March 2011, will reinvent the on-campus experience of students, increase learning and recreational space and provide a `front door' to services at the University.

The development is part-funded by the Federal Government's Better Universities Renewal Funding initiative.
