Opening hours
The International Office will be closed on Monday 1 October due to a public holiday. Normal opening hours will resume on Tuesday 2 October.
Reminder - new process for accepting offers
To comply with the updated ESOS requirements, it is important that ALL of the following information is supplied when accepting an offer for a student:
- copy of the original 'Offer Letter and Acceptance Agreement';
- payment form (with payment); AND
- any other documentation as requested in the original offer letter.
Acceptance documentation should be sent to coe@adelaide.edu.au
This is the minimum information that must be supplied with every acceptance. Sending complete information to us will assist us to provide Confirmations of Enrolment promptly - many thanks to the agents who have adapted so quickly to this change.
International Office staff profile: Julie Perry
In this issue we profile Julie Perry. Julie joined the International Office over two years ago, originally to provide statistical reports for the office.
Julie is now an admissions officer whose current portfolio includes Humanities and Social Sciences (Arts), Law and Economics.
A graduate of the University of Adelaide, Julie has worked in the higher education system for many years, including administrative computing, student system support, and planning.
Julie enjoys spending time with her children and her two young grandsons. In her spare time Julie enjoys hiking and bushwalking and helping on the Murray Grey cattle stud that she shares with her husband in the Adelaide Hills.
University news – University awarded more than $40 million in research funding
The University of Adelaide has recently been awarded more than A$40 million in research funding from the Australian Research Council and the National Health and Medical Research Council.
