International Office staff profile
This
issue's profile is of Vicki Brougham, who is the International Office's Finance/Administration
Officer.
Her life's mantra is that before food and travel there was nothing – a mantra that she has followed since childhood (as can be seen in the photo).
She lists amongst her most memorable culinary moments eating borak in Istanbul; aloo gobhi in New Delhi; hot chips with satay sauce in Amsterdam; boiled eggs in Zambia; and her mother's roast chicken in Adelaide.
Her most memorable journey was from Northern Malawi to Dar Es Salaam on a bus, on which the people were on the roof and the chickens were in the seats.
