International Enquiry Form

For current students wishing to change their program in semester 1, 2010

You can use this form if you:

are an international student
are currently enrolled in an academic program at the University of Adelaide
wish to change into a different program or commence a new program.

This includes students who have completed a Bachelor program and are now applying for a Postgraduate Coursework program.

Don't use this form if you are:

in Bachelor of Commerce program and want to change stream/major - Contact the Professions Undergraduate Hub;
applying for an Honours degree - Contact your faculty or school office;
applying for a Postgraduate Research program - Complete the international students application for Postgraduate Research Studies form;
applying for candidature transfer between Masters and PhD - Contact the Adelaide Graduate Centre.

Change of Program Application Deadlines

The deadline for applying to change your program is 5pm, 11 December

Do not submit more than one application
No supporting documents are required unless otherwise requested

If your application is successful:

You must accept your offer by the deadline stated in your offer letter.
If you accept your offer, your new program will be activated and your previous program will be DISCONTINUED by the relevant faculty or school. In accordance with the Australian Government ESOS Act, an international student must not be enrolled in more than one formal, full-time CRICOS registered program of study at any one time.
Once your new program is activated, it will be YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to enrol into courses for the new program via Access Adelaide

Terms of Application

* I understand that the personal information entered on this form will be used for the purposes of replying to my enquiry in accordance with the University privacy policy.

* This request is subject to the approval of the relevant faculty. I will be notified via my student email account as to whether it has been approved or rejected (refer to dates above).

* I understand that I must formally accept an offer in order to confirm my place in the new program.

* I understand that if I accept an offer for a new program, I will be discontinued from my current program. I must then enrol into courses relevant to my new program via Access Adelaide.

Information for students:

* Students who are successful in their application will receive an Offer Letter via email by following dates:
		4 December, 2009 (for students who lodge their form before 13 November, 2009)
		22 January, 2010 (for students who lodge their form between 14 November and 11 December 2009)
	* If you wish to accept your offer, you must return the acceptance by the date outlined in your Offer Letter.
	* You must carefully follow the instructions accompanying your Offer Letter to ensure that you are enrolled in the correct program. 
 
  
Notes for Faculty/School:
  
  * Note that the student's file is available from the Enrolment Office should you need to view it
  * Please use the spreadsheet provided by the International Office to track Change of Program applicant details and your recommendations as to whether each should be offered a place in the program for which they have applied
  * Return the completed spreadsheet to the International Office on the requested dates
