Meet & Greet Service

To assist you when you first arrive in Adelaide the International Student Centre offers a Meet and Greet Service.  The service includes:

• organising a university representative to meet you at the Adelaide Airport, Train or Bus Terminal
• providing you with a Welcome Package
• booking accommodation for you and your immediate dependants (partners and children) for your first week in Adelaide
• transporting you and your immediate dependants to your accommodation

The Meet and Greet service is FREE for all new international students and their immediate dependents (partners and children) to the University of Adelaide. All parties including students and their families will need to cover the cost of their temporary accommodation.

To take advantage of this service you MUST notify the International Student Centre of your confirmed arrival details at least ten (10) days in advance of your arrival. You do this by submitting an Arrival Form.  You can submit the Arrival Form:

• online through the Online Arrival Form or
• by downloading the Arrival Form (pdf 28kB) Please print out the form, complete it and fax it to the International Student Centre on (+61 8) 8303 4352

If you make your own accommodation and travel arrangements for your arrival in Adelaide, you should still complete and submit an Arrival Form to inform us of the date of your arrival and the address at which you will be living. We can then mail your Welcome Package to you.

The International Student Centre (ISC) will contact you to

• confirm receipt of your form or online submission information. You will receive an immediate confirmation if you submit the online arrival form.
• confirm arrangements for your accommodation and transport arrangements.  This confirmation may take up to one week after receipt of your form.
