Enrolment

Academic programs can have different start dates. Your Offer of Admission letter contains accurate information on when you should arrive in Adelaide, as well as other important information. You should refer to your Offer prior to enrolling and ensure that you are familiar with the information stated there.

Please note: new international students must enrol in person; they cannot enrol by proxy or from overseas.

Enrolment for Semester 2, 2008

All international students commencing a new academic program in Semester 2, 2008, are advised to arrive in Adelaide in time to participate in the Orientation Program (14 - 24, July 2008), so you can attend the compulsory Arrival Briefing session and a How to Enrol workshop before your official enrolment date.

Arrival Briefing sessions are held each morning of the Orientation Program at 9:30 am.

At the How to Enrol workshop you will receive your username and password to the University system and will find out where and when you can access academic advice for your particular program. How to Enrol workshops are held each afternoon of the Orientation Program – refer to the Workshops and Information Presentations schedule for more information.

If you cannot arrive in time to attend your official enrolment you will have to complete a late enrolment. Although we strongly recommend that students arrive in Adelaide in time to attend their official enrolment day, we understand that it is not always possible for students to do this. Your course choices may be limited by enrolling late, however please be assured that there is a process in place for students who arrive late. If you cannot arrive in Adelaide until after the Orientation Program period, you will need to come to the International Student Centre as soon as possible after arrival in order to complete your enrolment.

Enrolment Dates

New international Postgraduate and Undergraduate students should arrange to arrive in Adelaide before their enrolment date. Study Abroad and Exchange students are asked to arrange to arrive in Adelaide on or before the weekend of Saturday 19 - Sunday 20 July 2008.
