Study Abroad and Exchange Programs

The University of Adelaide's Study Abroad and Exchange programs allow students who are already enrolled at universities outside Australia to study in Adelaide for one or two semesters. The programs offer an exciting opportunity for students to combine a high quality academic and cultural experience while living in the city of Adelaide.

Exchange program

You are eligible to be an exchange student if:

your home institution has a formal Student Exchange agreement with the University of Adelaide; and
you are nominated for the program by the exchange coordinator of your home institution and if you meet the entry requirements. Please note that the completed Exchange Application form must be forwarded by the exchange coordinator at your home institution; we are not able to accept Exchange Applications submitted directly by students.

Exchange students remain enrolled with their home institution and continue to pay tuition fees to their home institution. Exchangees may study at the University of Adelaide for one or two semesters. The academic program you undertake may be credited towards your degree as per the formal agreement between the two institutions; it is your responsibility to liaise with the exchange coordinator at your home institution regarding credit transfer.
